Not sure what to think about the song, but the lead licks are pretty cool!

Megadeth’s newer singles feel more polished but still aggressive. I actually queued the track while browsing https://casinosanalyzer.com/free-slots-online/Immortal-Romance randomly. It’s cool hearing how the band keeps evolving.
I think even with my mixed feeling on what I have heard so far that I still find it more interesting than the last few Metallica albums! Now my hopes are back up. This is definitely the second least worst song from the four released so far.
He needs to turn the bass and resonance up a few notches on that JVMAgree with all the Countdown comparisons. Basically just sounds like he wanted to recreate that sound except he's too old...which I guess is kinda true. Don't hate it, but it's definitely lacking in some energy.
Something about this tone is both good and off. Like either the bass guitar needs to be turned up, or the guitars need more depth.
Agree. Kinda scratchy and thin...Agree with all the Countdown comparisons. Basically just sounds like he wanted to recreate that sound except he's too old...which I guess is kinda true. Don't hate it, but it's definitely lacking in some energy.

The weird thing is, if you've ever heard some of the RIP demo tracks and then compare to the final album, Marty is literally "playing something Chris Poland would play" because CP was present during some of the RIP demo phase around 1989. Some of those amazing Marty leads borrow melodies and licks that CP came up with. Marty still came up with plenty of other mind blowing stuff on RIP that had nothing to do with CP, but I honestly think Marty executed those CP ideas way better than CP himself.LOVE the lead playing.. Teemu was definitely asked to " Play something Marty would play" but that's ok because you can tell he loves Marty's playing.

It's all on the 2004 RIP remasters, where unfortunately they had to re-recorded bits and pieces of the album due to the analog tape masters unfortunate degradation which led to losing some tracks forever. Can you link those tracks? I would love to hear CP's take on some of those
