Plus to teach her how to play guitar...

Had my 15 minutes of fame. I just play for fun in the man cave. My therapy haha. I actually think I played better then but maybe that is because I played everyday and lived in a house full of musicians.

I do pick up things easier now, wish I did back then. Some of the stuff I liked back then is pretty easy now lol. Cant play flashy just dont have the speed and dexterity but I do have my own Jazzy Blues rock style.

I get nervous around friends but not on stage, weird huh? I think part of it is having all this high dollar gear and thinking they expect me to be like EVH or Vai or Pete Thorn. Now I have a Bogner 20th Anniversary Ecstasy in the mail and should be here next week. Still cheaper than drugs and or therapy.

Still luv writing new stuff and just jamming. My neighbor 7 houses up (he is in his late 40's-50ish, Im 40 so that works) came down the other day in the snow and brought his Carvin DC135 for me to try, nice guitar. We played a quite a few "parts" of songs and thinking about doing it again. Was cool, no pressure or showing off. See how it goes....

Im addicted to playing out. I gig about 2 nights a week electric and play the small dives acoustic during the week. I start freakin out when I have weeks with no gigs. Dont know what to do with my self. + it sucks payin for your own beer on your nights off

I love getting a nice buzz from a couple of drinks and then just ripping it up.

never got the whole im da best at guitar attidude. not into that type of thing at all. when it isnt fun to play i stop playing for a while. i couldnt give a shit how good or bad I am at guitar. and i dont give a shit how good some guy can shred either.

After reading alot of bashing on here.....I ask is everyone so damn critical?
I mean.....dont get me wrong here.....but it seems as if alot of whats criticized is like a pissing contest. Who really cares?
For me music is just a way to let off steam and have fun playing.
I never bash others here and been seeing alot of it lately.
Maybe I am too mellow or dont take it as seriously. dont matter if you play the shredding stuff or hell even some old Beach Boys tunes. If it makes the PLAYER smile and have a good time then thats what its about. Some asshole will always be there to say it was out of tune or flat or not in key.
But just play to have fun.
Thats my approach on playing. Not sure how many others out here think like me but I know from reading posts alot of guys are on high horses and always finding a way to criticize or make judgement.
And they are the guys that dont put out clips or videos....Go figure.



Oh well....what the hell do I know.

Just ranting after reading all the negative shit. Thats all.

make music....make it fun and enjoyable.

Music isnt Fun, its not about creativity, its difficult and annoying and I hate practicing, and, due to the fact that I do practice at All, I'm in a frustrated, hateful mood all the time and always looking for an opportunity to tell someone off. If you foolishly dont totally agree with me ALL the time, then it's Flame ON!!! Most importantly its about spending all my time on the forum instead of practicing because I know at this stage of my life I've accepted I'm not going to be a Rock Star so I come in here LOOKING for a conflict to ease my ego. So thats that.
Oh, AND, before I forget, Savage IS THE BEST, which is why I hate HIM too, and, RVS, that wasnt a fanny pack in the video, thats all Sav.
