I ordered a BRJ guitar over 9 months ago and was quoted the build to be 6-8 months. The total non existent communication with this company is hilarious. I can't get any answers.Is anyone else here stupid enough to have ordered a guitar from BRJ and how long have you been waiting? I am thinking of making a trip to Cali..

this is normal recently from what I hear...you'll get your guitar soon but they seem to have overwhelmed themselves.Have you tried calling them by phone?

Crummy customer service but like xxraybeazozddw said they do seem to come through with the guitar, just not on time.

I have a couple of friends that have been waiting a long time, yet they have constantly stated that it is a long time wait that is worth it.

They supposedly have a new guy who is helping to straighten shit out... production@ricojrguitars in case you don't have it, is the e-mail for said individual.

I haven't heard anything in quite a while either. And mine was painted last October(2011...)

Not that it's any kind of excuse but the guitars really are spectacular when done. The long wait and bad communication seems to be the norm over there but eventually you will get your guitar.

I think they are very close to me. Always wanted to check out their shop. I hear they are amazing guitars.
