I’ll keep it real these newer compositions are very “polished.” Sometimes I love it other times it becomes too on the grid, robotic, & lifeless… At that point I tend to just focus on the techniques which can be appreciated.. It’s hilarious watching old movies & listening to old songs with the kids because their generation is accustomed to the newer sound & productions.. I turned on some random movie called “Mac and me” the other day & at first my daughters were like “Dad wth is this” but then it was so hilarious & over the top they ended up watching the whole thing lmao. Short circuited them.Oh I see now
Slowly introducing them to older music / film so they can appreciate the lost relics while partaking in some of the modern ones as well. I’ve found an equal amount of trash to wade through in every era it seems… To be clear I am not calling Mac & me a relic…
