Busy, though I've had some music projects going on the side. Experimenting with basing improv around triad shapes, and installed a EVM12L Classic in my dad's combo after modifying the speaker cutout. Hopefully this weekend I can record comparisons in the combo. Not ideal, but oh well. You?
That sounds pretty good. Improv on triad shapes is good just learn to add the b3'rds and b7'ths and you're off to the blues races. Basically been doing that with my cornet building up my knowledge base for some jazz improv work to be tackled as soon as I have a grasp on the pentatonics and arpeggios.

Yeah, several of them in the 100-150lbs range. Was fine at the time, paid the price the last three weeks. I guess I'm limited to smaller rocks now and using levers to move the big boys. I have some rock work to finish, quite a bit actually.
Yup, the material I was working through said something along those lines. There might have been some easy way of modifying the triad shapes to include them but I forget right now.
Ouch. Have Smash teach you how to deadlift! Will make it easier to throw wimpy drummers off the stage too.
Nice, sounds fun! I'll be around, but not often. Mostly try to just skim for any threads where I might be able to contribute something helpful, and leave off reading for entertainment.

You are right. I take it back. If you even put a speaker jack from a 100 watt amp near the cab, it blows all speakers and turns you Canadian
I just used the Celestion web page like anyone else. I can read 20 vs 25 watts and see the difference in the frequency response graphs. If they were the same speaker I'm sure they'd have the same specs and same frequency response graphs. They're different.
I believe in at least twice the speaker wattage of my amplifiers. 600 watt Fenders are no joke.
