Cheap guitar or amp?

My birthday is coming up and I’d like to get myself a little present. Either an inexpensive guitar or an amp for under $300. I know of guitarfetish/ rondo music/ harley benton. What other companies sell cheap guitars and amps that don’t totally suck?
