I'm planning on trying the 'wet/dry/wet' approach again. I'm going to try running the JCM 800 into the Hotplate, and feed the Line Out to the Rockman on a really light setting (0.25Hz, 20ms, 10% wet) on both channels, as a 'stereo split' to the stereo poweramp. I'll run them with the presence really low to keep the tone dark (I don't like bright chorused sounds). I want that slow but rippling, pulsating growl sound, like an undercurrent. It's what I love about that Rockman Chorus sound you hear beaten to death by Giorgio Moroder in the Scarface soundtrack and the Grand Theft Audio clips (the same songs actually, for that 'coke music' effect) that I keep giggling at.
Meanwhile I'll have the MarkIV running dry out of two pairs of speakers, in between the wet speakers.
If I want to soup it up further, I have a couple of options (H2O Liquid Chorus & Echo, Neunaber Chroma detune) in front of the Marshall.
And if I want more swirl in front of everything- just slam on the Deluxe Electric Mistress flanger! I love that thing!
