Classifieds Deal Gone Weird

And speaking of Bullshit, I have been here since 2006, and havent screwed anyone over (yet). But I am trying very hard

The truth is, there are so many wasted people on here buying shit at 2 a.m., that I have made thousands of dollars on people that just forget they bought 6 4x12's and paid for next day air.

I hope stuff gets better for you, honestly, I was suprised to find out it was you. I know you have a lot of deals that went fine.
I mean that with all sincerity.
 
I didnt lie, I got very confused and fucked up the deal.
 
Obviously it was a bum situation and a mistake whichever way you look at it. Thankfully it got resolved quickly and I don't think anyone was hiding what happened or the truth. I don't think you can judge his situation based upon one bad incident, you need to give him the benefit of the doubt, if it was a regular occurrence (which history with him as shown it's not) I could understand. He is clearly having personal issues, both parties involved came clean, apologized and the situation was resolved you know? Live and let live, at the end of the day the only real down side was the buyer didn't get their amp quite as fast as expected.

I'd be pissed off if I were in this situation, but he was never truly at risk with using paypal, they are almost always on the side of the buyer. No need to get bent out of shape, he apologized and made good!

Think we should cut him some slack!

Everyone fucks up. I got burned for $300 a couple years back buy a guy INTENTIONALLY ripping people off. :gethim: I know you done alot of deals here so was surprised when it was you. But hey....shit happens. ;)

Quite honestly, I believe this whole thing was a mistake on Metalhead's part. It could happen to anyone moving that amount of gear. I also feel your pain on the whole personal issues thing, believe me. I've had probably the worst year of my life as far as family members dying, depression, marriage problems etc...made some posts earlier this year but things are better now.

But like Matt said, you gotta stay solid and on top of things when you're dealing with people's money/gear and selling online. I believe you though man, brain farts and brain shits happen to the best of us, and when you're under a lot of stress they're even more prone to happen! There's a difference between someone who is a constant fuck-up and and blames their personal problems for their mistakes, and someone who just makes an honest mistake, knows and admits it, and makes it right in the end. You're the latter.

Judging by the time you've spent here and the gear you've bought/sold, and just from seeing your posts on the main forum, my opinion of you is that you're a good guy. :thumbsup: I'd buy gear from you.
















Oh, and there is no way a Wizard MM OT could have blown, there is a guy who is an endorsee and demos the amps at Namm and the amp shows who knows the seller of that amp you bought and says he is a stand up guy.
 
Its good to hear this deal worked out fine. When you think of all the deals Metalhead has had with 100 % satifaction 1 screw up isnt the end of the world. Im sure everyone here has bought something on ebay from a seller with 98-99% feedback. As long as its not a trend.

I will add, IMO there is NO EXCUSE for poor comunication

Must not have been that bad of a personal problem if you can keep buying and selling gear..

Dude wanted a refund, which the seller did not have the money, probably because he already bought other gear with his money..
 
Eric fucked up, Hoff suffered, and Eric said he was sorry and will never do it again.
