I've sold and bought so much different stuff on CL it's not even funny. Tools, animals, instruments, motorcycles, atv's, all kinds of stuff. Even gave stuff away in the free section. I never had anyone no show, never had to deal face to face with a moron. Other than shit trade offers, lowballers, and tire kicker emails every actual transaction made was super easy. I even met some legitimately cool people and players through there. It kinda sucks that many people have switched to flakebook marketplace but the musical instrument section is still going strong in the Austin-San Antonio area.

I live in the NE so people are massive retards here. I need to move.
I suppose they all want to use zelle or apple pay for in person transactions. I think you would like central Texas but it's undergoing a rapid change and will probably seem like the northeast in a few years except with hotter summers and less water.

The weight question is bullshit to set up for a partial later. "This weighs 6 Oz more than u said and my scale is more accurate cause I get it professionally checked! I want money back! When people ask the weight of a guitar, I just tell em its real heavy and they wouldn't want it. Saves us both time and me trouble.

Well it’s not bs at all—some of us play standing up at all times and have back issues. I have no issue driving hours to check out a $5k Les Paul but I’m not going to waste my time.

A fish scale is $10 on Amazon and it will arrive on your doorstep in 24hrs. If you are a serious seller you will provide adequate info

I've never had too much trouble selling guitars just giving a general weight estimate. I moved my Viper a few weeks ago. A couple times when someone asked I think I weighed myself without a guitar on my bathroom scale then with the guitar since it does tenths of a pound but usually I didn't even get the question. Most guys aren't gigging though either, so there is that. Quite a few more necessary things needed in a gigging axe IME.

You need to start browsing CL musical instruments in Austin bro. All the amps you've been looking at have listings on CL right now. Twins, Dr. Z's, Supers, Deluxes. Clean tone heaven at fair prices.
But how much do they weigh? Asking for a friend
