It pretty much is! That's why I like the new album so much. Because usually when you hear the first single, the album is all downhill from here. Not in this case. There are MUCH stronger songs on the new album. Still diggin it!

On the other hand... I bought the last Candlebox album (2008) on the recommendation of some here that it was a lot like the first (which kicked ass). Picked it up yesterday and so far it mostly bores me to tears.

I just saw them last Saturday and they fucking smoked, and Amy was pretty much dead on; the sound was amazing, and it's plainly obvious when someone can't cut it, but she most definitely did. The band was far tighter too. Ejecting the Arkansas guys with copious amount of butt hurt surved the band sound well.

My buddy has some video of it, and she's great live; it's not a case being in the moment and not hearing the problems with tuning. Though I will say she's a lot better now than 5 years ago, largely because she didn't jump around like a fool like she used to.
