Yes they are and not flubby at all. Perfect match for Marshall style amps.

I have one. I got it to use with my EVH 50w. It's nice, but doesn't sound as good as my Mills cabs with Scumbacks. I'm probably gonna put it up for sale on CL for cheap. Lol

These cabs would look fantasic with a wheat color(vintage Marshall tan)grill cloth, your opinions.

I love my EVH 4x12, I also got a 2x12 that I am going to throw some of the EVH speakers in and I also have the 1x12 EVH that I will also throw creamback in

Sblue, wasn't the early 67 20 watt green back paper voice coil with. 1777 cones??????

Hey bmf5150,
I don't remember the voice coil or cone #s on the 67 G12Ms. But they are the 20w.
I used to have eight basketweave cabs(latest was a 69), and when I've decided to sell them for studio gear, I've only kept this one, 'cause it was the best sounding one of the bunch. By the way, they were all hand picked, and they all sounded amazing!
To my surprise, when EVH released the 4x12, it had the 20w RI Greene, and I've decided to give it a try.
After trying the EVHs I've bought the two I own 'till today.
Been doing 80% of the guitars here at the estudio with them.
They do sound very close to the 67, and it worth using them when tracking a 100w amp, just to not worrying about blowing my original 67 bw.
These EVH are my favorite cab released withing the last 30 years.
And I didn't have to change a thing on it!!!

The cabinets are solid. Made in Mexico or Southern California, whats the difference? Depends on where you want your hard earned money go.

They are either made in mexico by skilled mexicans or made in Cali by skilled mexicans... No different except is saves Fender a crap load of money

Do you buys prefer a rear loaded cab over a front loaded? If so then why?

I've never had the chance to try speakers rear and front loaded on the same cabinet. So, I don't know which would be better.
However, I've got a few front loaded and some rear loaded cabs, and they both sound great.

What would you sell a excellant condition EVH 4X12 for,the one that I have is a very early model(early serial #) it was made in Feb,2007 and then the cabs where released in July of 2007 per Eddie.

$400 on Craigslist is about what it's worth. Add shipping if you sell on the forums. Probably be tough to get more, unless you get lucky. 412 Cabs are boat anchors.

I live in a NYC apartment, this is not helping my cab GAS.
