It really is a unique sounding amp. I'd describe it as a cross between a Recto, Mark series and Soldano with maybe a hint of Bogner sprinkled on top. The low end is tighter and more refined than a Recto. Unless you dime the bass knob there's no flub. It 's semi-dark sounding in the way you'd want thick, meaty rhythm tones to be. That doesn't mean it's a rhythm style only amp thought. You can get some singing leads out of it too. Semi-dark, smooth, and versatile is the best way I can sum it up.

I have 2 of each from the '94/'95 re-release production run. Aside from being my fav shaped guitar it's nostalgia since that's the year I started playing and and IC300 was my first real guitar. The IC300 came only in Black & Jewel Blue for that year. The jewel blue (looks black in the pic) was a limited production run for only that year. The IC350 is the only non-signature Iceman to have a floyd rose, was produced only for that year, and only came in black. My original Iceman from back then was damaged in a flood. So while looking for a replacement from the same year I came across the others. I grabbed them while they were available (and still cheap) since they rarely show up. I've been wanting to get a '94 Iceman bass but the few that have popped up have been way overpriced.

The Morse is an awesome amp and different than the rest of the line. It's more Marshally/plexi sounding and not as compressed as the others. Between the mid knobs and the overall tone shift button you can really dial in the mids exactly how you want on channel 3. It's definitely different enough from your Blackmore that it wouldn't be redundant.

Last week somebody made an offer to trade an Ibanez 2663 SL for one of my guitars. I didn't know what kind of Ibanez that was and it was some strange kind of Iceman shape with a sliding pickup. It was from the seventies. Never seen that.

that iceman collection is epic. great pics!!! also saved a buddy from a corn snake in college back in 91 or so. He was holding it and it wrapped around his neck and almost strangled him. Luckily me and another buddy were there in the lab. Took everything we had to get it off of him. blacked his eyes from being strangled. Could have been a pine snake...it was brown with some white.5 or 6 feet long and thicker than a man's wrist..been so long ago. sorry for the O.T. story....

Was it one of these? If so that's a rare find.

I have an albino cornsnake named Pinky and a black ratsnake named The Brain. Brain is pushing 20 years old and is a good 7+ feet long. Pinky isn't far behind that. He's a little over 5 feet long and around 17 years old.

Nice! I have an 8-year-old green tree python. Grumpy is close to 6 or 7 feet stretched out.

Exactly! Same color, it was from the mid seventies. I didn't accept the proposal. I like the Iceman shape but that sliding pickup is weird.
