What area is he supposedly in?? Im in the philly area here and my eyes are gonna peeled, same thing happened to my old bass teacher, The guy stole 2 of her American P-Bass's back in the 80's? If we find him can we have a rig-talk convention so everyone can get their hits in??

yeah my bad i should've clarified that... just relaying that I understand where you're coming from, but I still thinks we should beat the $&*@ out of him
 
That might leave a DNA sample that could be traced back to you. I think we should employ Moaah's tie 'em to a tree and let the fire ants have them method :D :D
 
Have you tried facebook and myspace? Seems like everyone and their brother is on those 2 now. I dont do either, but it might be worth a look, You probably already did
 
Boy, that looks just like one I owned years ago. Did you get that new?
 
I bought it 'barely used' from GC. The guy had it for a few weeks before trading it in

Ill keep my eyes open as I'm a prs enthusiast and generally check out the used market.
Just check the usual eBay and Craig's list, it's bound to pop up at some point :)
 
If you have a judgement against him, can you file with the court for non payment etc, would the court then file for a warrant? If that happened maybe if he even got stopped for a speeding ticket, etc, you could locate him. Have you tried using a PI? That may not get your guitar back but maybe they will catch him and also stop him from doing that to someone else..
 
Here's hoping that the thief gets his just reward and that you get reunited with your PRS.

I had a modded 5150 walk out of a studio one day.... well I tracked it done 3 years later in New Orleans( about 15 hours away) It had changed hands at least twice that the guy that has it now knew of and didn't/doesn't want to sell it back to me.. Kinda blows. Buy amp, Pay to ship and mod it, it vanishes, years go by and I find it, guy wont sell it to me. FUCK. Hope your head ache works out better than mine.
