Guitars that seem inherently too "slinky"

.1mm relief? No wonder it's buzzing.

People measure things drastically differently from person to person. So there is that.
Geez sorry dude, wasn’t really paying attention and used the wrong decimal place. I will make sure to submit my posts to my proofreader from now on. Hopefully nobody thinks I am stringing up my guitars with steel cabling because I said my strings are 11-52 gauge and completely omitted the decimal. ?

So do you now mean it is 1mm not .1mm? Neither would make sense imo, but I do read where people like straight or no relief at all, so .1mm makes more sense really, although I have never been able to get away with that and still be able to play normally.

.3mm-.5mm is what I've always used, and is what Ibanez suggests for a basic 9-42 at E setup.
Like I said already though, it has a lot to do with who and how it is being measured.

Love slinky guitars.
Had a late 70s LP that played like it had 9s when it had 11s.
My Explorer and SG are nice, but the ES-335 is super ez to play. Smooooth.
