I go fairly low. When I play seated I play in classical position, so I'm used to having my right arm straight. Im 6'2" so I need to find straps that are over 60".

Plus it looks cool.

I would say medium low, my pick points right at where my belt buckle would be. I’m 6’1” so I look like a goof if I tried to go much higher with it.
 
Pretty much whatever height I have sitting down I use standing up.


For me its just better on my back and its easier to play too.


Not George Harrison high or Morello but high for sure.
 
SRV didn’t hang it low, maybe medium. I think he raised it over the years.

Jimi hung it medium or medium high and so did EVH. Neither ever looked like a dork to me. Hanging it too low looks dorky to me. It has a ‘not-comfortable-in-my-own-skin’ vibe. Jimi and EVH appeared to hang it for playing comfort as it should be.
 
High for me. Years ago i discovered that it's easier to see, and more comfortable.
 
I like the looks of low, but can only play as well as sitting if it's high. So I go medium and only suck about 25% more than when sitting. Perfect balance 🤣
