I don't want to get into this, lol. Bassists have always been my achilles heel. I'm fortunate to have the most normal bassist I've ever had. He's still a bassist though haha. I can't be bitter. He's allowed me to really grow since he has a good attitude about gigs, rehearsing, and recording. Just finding a guy with a work ethic and quality attitude is a game changer. I've done probably 500 or 600 gigs with him...

Old bass player had awful taste in music, so when it wasn't poser nu metal like Slipknot and Mudvayne, it was poser metal core like KSE and Lamb of God.

It's literally the only reason I've heard most of this complete shit - being forced to listen to music created by douchebag cringe lords with dreadlocks and baggy pants because that's the primary demographic bass players come from.

I think I just had a flashback to 2006, driving to "the bad area of town" to buy some drugs, and having to hang out with the dealer and his buddies in a trailer who all want to talk to me about music and guitar.
