I couldn’t bring myself to vote in the last electionExactly. It's weird to make a statement that you will make no statements. As a wise man once wrote, "If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice."
I cannot fucking fathom being so musically illiterate as to think the final cut is genius and James hetfield is a dunce
Widely agreed as the greatest rhythm guitarist ever, vs can't even fucking play the bass on his own albums
That is the piece de resistance
Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am stuck in the middle with you.I couldn’t bring myself to vote in the last election. What choice did I make by not choosing?
By not voting, you made everyone else's vote proportionally more consequential. Therefore you ceded your agency to those who cared enough to vote.I couldn’t bring myself to vote in the last election. What choice did I make by not choosing?

“When talking to Musician, the wounds of Gilmour and the group’s split with Waters were still raw, which had naturally changed the dimension of Pink Floyd’s work for the former. Asked whether his old songwriting partner was a persuasive bass player back in the heady days of A Saucerful of Secrets, in his typically eloquent style, Gilmour recalled the “limited” approach of his arch-nemesis. The guitarist said: “He had developed his own limited, or very simple style. He was never very keen on improving himself as a bass player, and half the time, I would play the bass on the records because I would tend to do it quicker. Right back to those early records, I mean, at least half the bass on all the recorded output is me anyway.”
It was then revealed that Gilmour played the fretless bass on ‘Hey You’ from 1979’s The Wall. He said: “Yeah. Hmm. Roger playing fretless bass? Please!”

From what I remember, there are 2 bass tracks, Waters and Gilmour together.I never knew that. I wonder if Waters played bass on One of These Days. The live version on Delicate Sound and Pulse is one of my favorites.
Reminds me of how Billy Corgan had to play the bass and all guitars on Siamese Dream. Well, maybe not exactly the same situation, as Iha and Darcy were capable.
What if he places his trust in a higher agency to begin with?By not voting, you made everyone else's vote proportionally more consequential. Therefore you ceded your agency to those who cared enough to vote.

Huh?"Percussive" is how they say "he fucking sucks but we like him because he's a commie so we're calling it something nice"
Huh?
I don't think that's true. My "huh?" Was in response to you talking about "percussive" bass playing which was nowhere in the post you quoted.Roger Waters has always gotten a complete pass on being a hack because the media agrees with his childish midwit agitprop sloganeering.

I see. Autocorrect is a bitch sometimes. I disagree that he gets a pass. I see lots of negative coverage. Cheers DanIt's just an autocorrect of "persuasive" because phones love autocorrect
I'm pretty sure you knew exactly what was happening and are using it as an opportunity to be obtuse

“Persuasive”… as in “please oh please let me back in the band!”"Percussive" is how they say "he fucking sucks but we like him because he's a commie so we're calling it something nice"

If I was his age with his money the last thing I'd want to do is go on tour or make more depressing suicide inducing music. I'd be seaside on some Greek island sipping muscat and eating olives wondering which murphy lab or private reserve I was going to order this week and then hit vespers at sunset. Maybe open a studio and offer services to local musicians who could use a helping hand.I'm pretty sure Roger would suck Netanyahu's cock to get back in pink floyd
That's what happens when the media celebrates you as an "auteur" because you write the commie gibberish even though you're obviously a complete hack
