Ha this is me. I use an iPad to help with memory. It has Bluetooth connection so I use my foot to control.

Nah, it's more fun to make the lyrics up if you forget them....for years, I've sang Crazy Train....but....I'd forget parts...and end up with...."Maybe, it's not too late, to learn how to love, and forget what I ate"....ya know, shit like that.
I'd try to make the band laugh early and often ( not only at my playing)
