I will never order out of stock BKP from a dealer again

Ordered BKPs a few times from Axe Palace. All took 2 months. And on top of that, both times I ordered a set of Nailbombs, I asked for an Alnico bridge, and they sent ceramic. And asked for a Trilogy Suite middle, and was sent a neck. Really not interested in buying from them again.

I will chime in and say AP is no good as well.
It sucks that this is the case since he is local to me, in fact he is less than 40 minuets from me.
I ordered a guitar from him and he said it would be in within a time frame and it wasn't....that was fine but no response to many emails and Facebook messages.

After a few more weeks I called him and he said, "what's the deal" and he said, "oh they don't have any cases for your guitar in stock so I thought you wouldn't want the guitar until the case was ready."

Why didn't he call, email, or facebook message me and ask? Because he is a horrible business man!

During all of this I had a $100 down payment on the guitar and I asked for a refund...a few weeks go by and no credit was put back on my card.
I called and asked if he took care of it and he said "I think I did" so I said nope, you didn't.
He said ok I will take care of it, 2 weeks later nothing!

I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get my $100 back.

Top it all off with a cocky attitude like he knows it all....icing on the cake my friends!

Yeah that guy is bad news sometimes ...I'm going to refrain from details but confirm the above post as not a surprise to me at all.

IMO people like this should be known about, especially on Rigtalk since he sells a lot of gear that we are all fans of.

This should be pinned

I ordered the JazzIII carbon fibers and I believe strings from him when they came out, waited way longer than I should have. Never got a response to emails wasn't till I opened a PayPal dispute that I received my stuff as well as a nice long rant on how he deals in 3000.00 guitars and why would he screw me on such a small order. I know I'll never do business with him again.

He was/is fairly popular with the SS.ORG crowd. He basically launched his business with the support of that community.

I can't get the builder to respond to my inquiry. The dealer has been more than gracious, and I've done business with him before on other things and have had nothing but glowing results from those deals. The last either of us have gotten as far as info goes is 8 weeks ago he said "2 more weeks." The pickup may sound like the second coming of Christ, but it's likely I'll never buy another one just based on this experience. If it's going to take a ridiculous amount of time to fill an order, he should give a disclaimer. At least that way I'd know up front and could decide if I wanted to wait that long.

I bought a custom shop Parker from The Axe Palace without any problems.

I also bought custom bkps from nick and he was upfront with me about the wait. Apparently a lot of it is because BKP got picked up for a few ibby models and whatnot. They havent hired enough people fast enough.
