You can really hear a lot of high end and mid fizz with these amps that isn't bad perse on a 1000 dollar amp or so but for this.....
This huge pile of Blue Dog Shit cost 4,000+ big ones...... That is a lot of money for that sort of tone.....
Maybe they shouldnt use Vietnamese transformers on a "UK made amp" or on a UK Marshall in general, what kind of dog shit is this and yeah it cost a million dollars pretty much. One is better off getting a Friedman, Mesa, Bad Cat, Soldano etc etc for this money.
Its pretty stupid and it's just a bunch of novelty BS for scammers, scalpers, pedestrians and collectors amongst ageing gen xers and millennials.

the price is a bummer.. I'm going to have to really like it to hold on to it. I want to compare to the other marshall's I have and see what comes of it. I'll let you know if it comes with a wig and pair of tuck it underwear so I can start using the womens bathroom. lol

I don't hear anything special in this amp. Put a decent boost in front of an 800 and you have the same sound. And for an even better sound, pop the Green Day album in the trash and throw on some NOFX
May as well get the Marshall modified and save some coin.

Yeah this dude sucks but that amp, tonally speaking is probably the least offensive rock tone I could imagine. $4k is crazy work though.

That's what I was thinking but just couldn't find the words. Songs like Having a Blast and When I Come Around had killer Marshall tone. Even if you can't stand the vocals or singer's politics, the tone is nice. But I do also feel like I can get very close to that tone with a variety of amps I own. My Friedman Jose does it very easily.

I didn't make it past page two of this thread, but here is my experience with Green Day.
When GnR was inducted into the RnR HOF in Cleveland, I was at a party in the Foundation room at the House of Blues in Cleveland the day before. Green Day was in town to open the show and I was hanging around with the bass player and drummer of GD along with Jim Florentine and others. GnR were suspected of having a sound check late night at the HOB.
Suddenly, we were all thrown out of the venue. Security tossed us all out. The bass player and drummer were standing next to me and tried to stay to see what was going on. They were tossed as well.
On the way out, we ran into Steven Adler sneaking into the back of the HOB. He was really cool. A few of us hang around and listened to the faint sound of GnR rolling through some tunes. True story.

Cool to get a breakdown on how it was recorded and also that they felt the rack gear in the signal chain saved the sound (but true for most of our beloved recordings).
Also Pierce trying to make hay out of the “great” edge of breakup sound from the low input that didn’t sound any better than any number of amps with the gain turned down. He spent more time there than actually playing the amp as intended.
Also them saying the new one sounded better was pretty funny when the original had a more defined midrange and would probably mix better.
The YT folks definitely trying to glow up this thing.
