He has stood the test of time more than a lot of 80's guys, or other guys from Nitro. I have no problem with him...his wig is a little too thick, which looks a bit much, but his online lessons have good explanation.

My band toured with him in '87 opening up. At the time I was taking private lessons from Paul so my perception of good was seriously warped.
