I actually have some good friends that I've made here (i've never personally met) but who cares where ya meet 'em....good folks are good folks....Lord Toneking and Mylilss put up with me on a daily basis....They are the only two that have ever even heard my attempt at playing guitar....they feel sorry for me and at least laugh at me privately ..sometimes Gainzilla has to listen to my southern accent....i don't have many friends in real life due to life itself...everyone has jobs/families/hobbies etc....shortage of time for me to get together with lifelong friends...so i come to Rigtalk and hang out with some good folks.

Also made great industry contacts and am working on a cool collaboration that would've never been possible if I wasn't here. But this place? It's like a living, breathing, constantly morphing guitar & music specific magazine and trade show all wrangled into one. I can't imagine anyone not into music and guitars and amps and the like NOT digging this place. It's better than being an office tosser and blowing squip to 20 second clips of the latest ho' doing her in-out thang. This is where I can bullshit and hang and chillax with fellow gear heads when I'm not playing.

No harm, no foul and there's a lot of very cool cats here if I may say so myself. It's like TGP's the Beatles, and we're the Rolling Stones...a bit edgier and a helluva lot more fun

Well .... we had a show with the carneval men´s dancing club on Saturday
and had to drive deep in the woods where no taxi cab was available.

At 3 o clock in the morning all guys left with 2 cars and let me alone on
the parking area. Nobody missed me and I had to walk home for 3 and a
half hour. Maybe I should add that we had -20 degrees celsius.

Now I know the reason to build amps and search for friends here.
