Picked up a Mini Rec on a trade This evening.

Only had a a few minutes with it, but man I like the voicing on it. And what thick toned little bugger….

Get some JJ EL84's from Eurotubes and tell them it's for a Mini Recto. It'll warm it up and cut some of the fizz. The factory Sovteks don't do it any justice. Hit the front end of the modern mode high gain channel with an OD. It'll really make it chug!

An EQ in the loop works wonders too!
