While I can understand why you don't like the vht tone, they are not definitely harsh. The gain structure is tight and can be dry but the punch and the low end is amazing.

It's hard to explain what it is I don't like about them?? i just don't like them at all, nearly every clip I hear of a VHT sounds bad to my ears. It's like they are too dry and grainy sounding I guess??

Sure man, gear /tone / music is a matter of personal taste! Personally, I like the Deliverance more than the pittbull amps
