Holy shit bro! Congrats! That purple is awesome. Since I own an Ares, Orthos Combo, Colossus, and a Gemini...the Gemini reigns supreme. It’s still my favorite KSR. Something special about that amp. Kyle is a badass and has the best customer support.
That Wizard though. Damn, that’s one of the few amps I still care to try. Super cool brother. In the next year or so I’ll have to get one.

Both great amps with definite similarities when they are cranked up. I really wanted an SLO but when I play my friend's SLO side by side with the Wizards I feel I don't need one. I prefer the Wizard MC2 over the SLO, but I could see an argument going the other way. The Wizard doesn't blow it away.

Recorded they both sounded killer. Live I prefer the SLO but maybe the MTL is different than MC2. If they weren't so expensive I would give the MC2 another try but I need to try a MTL first.Wizard of Ozz":3218q654 said:halebox":3218q654 said:

I recorded my unreleased record with slo on one side and mc2 on other in stereo. Sounded great and was a nice mix

Agreed... to me the SLO has a slower attack with more lag to the picked notes, a smoother more compressed feel. I sold off my SLO's when I got my Marshall JCM Slash heads.. prefer the marshall rawness and the wizard maintains this
