One mod that I can recommend that Ive done on my two So cals is to put in the Petrucci style switch where you can split the two humbucker coils when in the middle position. It makes an already versatile guitar better IMHO
Ive thought about putting in a push pull volume pot as well but I might add a single inbetween the two humbuckers later on. Great idea...since these pickups are so fat sounding I bet they would split really nicely.
I was thinking of installing a push/pull volume pot (or that Fender volume knob with that push button on top) that splits both to get even more options with the three way toggle.
