Question for the Dean guys

So I'm at that age where you are wanting to grab a guitar from your youth that were out of reach at that time. I'm wanting to grab a vintage Dean ML and rock it on stage before I look completely stupid doing so. What do you think the market value of these guitars are currently, 70s to early 80s?

80's model MLs fetch around 2k. you can find them for less than that if you search.

I haven't seen any less than 3 grand for quite some time!

The ones that show up online for under $2K have been all hacked up by people who took a rattle can of spray paint to it, or used a chisel to install a Floyd Rose.

Also, those older ones have the pickup selector in a really goofy place.. right under the control knobs, instead of out on the front horn.

I’d be content with an import z (explorer) but I think Gibson has screwed the pooch on that one.
