Can someone please help Sammy Hagar make a decent set-list to kick off his Vegas residency? What a goof.

Come on Sam....give me a break.

I thought this was about Sammy Duet putting together an Acid Bath set list. I have opinions about that.

I don't care about this.

IMO not enough Montrose and older Red Rocker songs (think Standing Hampton) and I'm not sure why he thinks he should be doing any DLR era VH :dunno:
I agree. But do you think the typical Vegas crowd even knows who Montrose is? Or that he even had a solo career for that matter. It’s all about $$$.

This setlist doesn't really bother me. I would have liked to seen a few more deep cuts and some classics like Judgement Day as well as more of his solo and Montrose stuff, but it is still a decent set none the less. He was the voice of VH for nearly 20 years and has Michael Anthony, who co-wrote all of the Roth era songs on his setlist, with him on stage. I don't really see the issue.

I enjoy both DLR and Hagar VH albums, and on very rare ocassions even the VHIII album will get some play. I am grateful that Sammy is still out there playing some of these songs. I'd rather see him playing these DLR era songs with Michael on bass hitting the high harmonies than DLR and some group of people I have never heard of attempting them with the current state of Dave's voice.

Remove the Roth VH tunes. Never play Panama or Ain’t Talking Bout Love again. Those tunes are played out, having been played on every single VH tour ever.

Hey did you hear Sam was in "van hagar" ? Really he was, he'll tell ya.

Because that’s what people want to hear. I saw him in Nashville last year and he left his Montrose stuff until the last set. Half the crowd walked out.
