This setlist doesn't really bother me. I would have liked to seen a few more deep cuts and some classics like Judgement Day as well as more of his solo and Montrose stuff, but it is still a decent set none the less. He was the voice of VH for nearly 20 years and has Michael Anthony, who co-wrote all of the Roth era songs on his setlist, with him on stage. I don't really see the issue.
I enjoy both DLR and Hagar VH albums, and on very rare ocassions even the VHIII album will get some play. I am grateful that Sammy is still out there playing some of these songs. I'd rather see him playing these DLR era songs with Michael on bass hitting the high harmonies than DLR and some group of people I have never heard of attempting them with the current state of Dave's voice.
