Yeah, I swung by so he could show me what was wrong with it. The middle fader on the GEQ didn't work.

Doesn't surprise me one bit. My Mark V was the absolute most unreliable amp I ever owned.

Just saying ~$4k for a "reissue" with modern parts isn't much cheaper than this $5k IIC+ Longhead HG.

I remember tracking this ad down at the time, and believe it was a screen scrape scam based on a listing that sold elsewhere.
