Wait times on the MOD 50?

19 weeks is insane! Hey I am definitely into it and blah blah...but for an amp I've never actually played through.... well it makes me back peddal a little. I ordered mine and Frank said 6 weeks. I'd rather know upfront if thats not true instead of getting frustrated and bitter with excuses. Yeah I know the boutique is boutique attitude and they take time... but I need to rethink the timeline here re: 19 weeks..;. theres a huge difference between 6 and 19 weeks especially if the guy is still waiting... sad thing is I like everything I've listened too...but I dont know that I have it in me to wait that long...for a gigging musician thats hard...

I ordered mine from Frank week before last, and he told me the same, somewhere around 8 weeks or so. But here's the deal: Many of us are ordering this amp blind, not having a chance to play one, relying on what we read and talk to others about it. I am confident that this is an amp that is very much worth the wait. I wouldn't sweat it guys. When we get them, it will seem like the time flew by.

Yea, still waiting. No indication of it coming anytime soon. I'm close to the cancelling point here. Just doesn't make much sense. Hope you have better luck.

Did they take any money up front. NO.

Were Frank and his team helpful? YES!

Is there support after your purchase? Well if you want to call the company where you bought your amp and talk the the guy who actually built it - then Egnater is THE company for you. Tech support is UNRIVALED. Where else can you get this kind of service?

I didn't like a particular module they sent me. Guess what? Frank took it back and gave me something else for free.

My wait time was taking forever - guess what? Frank gave me a big DISCOUNT on my order for the long wait.

You people need to be real here. If you bought a Ferrari TODAY - you would be on a year and a half wait - AT LEAST - with with everybody else in the world ahead of you.

Ok so I appreciate your point of view...that being said... no whining here...how long were you told your wait would be???. The point is if it takes 5 months then it takes five months... being told 6 to 8 weeks and then it is 5 months is a little long in the tooth. The honeymoon starts to fade. I agree excellence takes time...but... having never played through the amp is a huge leap of faith...granted the clips sound amazing! To their credit they ask for no money so thats why I haven't bailed.

I know the extra wait is frustrating,been there,but EVERY time I fire up the M4 or the MOD,it just reminds me how glad I was to wait,P.S. I have no patience,at least thats what my wife says.

I once waited 9 months for a PRS. The Egnater is way more worth waiting for.
