I use my Way Huge Conspiracy Theory (Klon circuit) as a boost to the gain channels on my Soldano SLO-30 and Soldano Astro 20.
I was using a Boss SD-1 with the settings of level at 3o'clock and gain at 8-9 o'clock, I run the Klon the same way.
The difference is the Klon is smoother, the SD-1 is raunchier.
The Klon does not color the tone as much as the SD-1.
I go back and forth between them, for Marshall Plexi type amps the SD-1 is great.
For my high gain amps the Klon is a little better, both pedals are great and run on a 9v battery with very little draw.
