I can tell you that regular old school gay people think the LGBTQXYZ, should have stopped at LGB, with some acceptance of T simply because plenty of gay guys like to dress like women.

Personally almost nothing anyone does matters to me unless it directly, negatively affects me. That doesn't mean I think they deserve extra rights ALL PEOPLE aren't already afforded via the constitution. Most of the activism is mildly annoying, but in my world it really only exists on the internet so who gives a fuck. There are several dykes ( and I use that term to differentiate them from women like Stripped Rights posted up there) who work at my company and most of them are competent and aren't looking for attention. Two of them, Korey and Amber I consider friends of mine and would work with them over a lot of the guys that work there. The company recently hired two different trannies. One is a dude who wants to be a woman ( his name is Betty and he has a beard) and one is a woman who wants to be a dude. As far as I'm concerned as long as they do their job competently, aren't lazy pieces of shit and aren't incessantly talking about their personal lives I would have no issues working with them.
