Sure thing princess. Your whiny little bitch post essentially calling out Steve for "class warfare" is completely misguided as he's attacking the usefulness of the classifieds, not the people. The point was, if they don't have any money and all they care about are LTDs, etc, then the classifieds are basically worthless to somebody selling high end gear.

First of all, it wasn't a "whiny little bitch" post. I was trying to see if Steve would clarify what he meant by what he said. What he said actually was indicative of a belittling attitude towards people who don't have $4,000 kicking around for a guitar. In fact, he made a sweeping generalization of an entire forum of people, myself included. I thought that what he said might have been a little unfounded.

Secondly, I never used the words "class warfare". You see, people use quotation marks when referencing a direct quote from another source. Typically, it's used to point out the absolute fact that someone said something. If you're having trouble grasping that concept, feel free to re-read (if you can) this post and see if you can figure out why I used quotation marks.

When it comes to the point of this thread, I politely disagree with Steve. I like SS, even if it isn't a dick measuring contest like this site seems to becoming. I think that site is more about personal preference in gear rather than how much money you've got sitting in your account that you can burn on a Blackmachine or something.

Some of the members on here are bitter about being banned (yes, Zack and Steve) but that doesn't make it a shitty community.

It's less about bitter but more about why. They won't answer for some reason.....that's all. They do have a severely fucked up deal going on over there. As long as you don't mention Blackmachine, you are OK.

What I am ANNOYED about is that three people on that site that are allowed to run rampant and talk shit, even turn deals around on people when there isn't an issue. I am on that site all the time. change you picture taking methods and ip address. It isn't difficult. what annoys me about that site is the constant shit-talking on everything. I noticed they even got to you about our deal, which was smooth, and I never had a bad word to say about you. in fact, quite the opposite. I was banned off that site originally because I brought up several infractions of the rules to the moderators, who actually still text and facebook me to do deals. Real horrible person there. But they allow everyone with no basis to talk shit to other people that didn't previously have an issue.

It's a dick measuring contest over there right now. that's it. used to be cool. it's not anymore. and the proof is in the pudding. Their traffic is down by nearly 83% from last year. It's because of people that like to cause shit over there and biased mods who are two-faced that there is a problem. Someone that has NEVER DONE A DEAL WITH ANYONE can call someone with literally over 800 deals a scammer and get away with it. problem? I think so. Or ban Steve here for posting a NGD they don't like. Or block the very mention of patrick hufschmid's name from the site. Or endorse BRJ when even a newbie to the custom guitar industry could see that situation going down from a MILE AND A HALF away.

What is the deal with Blackmachine over there? SSO seems to be one of the sites that helped spread the initial hype and create that monster in the first place. Is it that there are too many lunatic fanbois (who have never actually seen or played a BM (I never have either)) over there that wreck any possible conversation about them? Or is there some butthurt because Doug refused to sell one of the mods a BM for $10k or something?

Seriously curious, because SSO a year or so ago seemed to be hyping BM to ridiculous levels, and now it's taboo.
