So I got back my purple Marshall Plexi above, loved the brown tones and the GnR tones. After I day I realized I needed another input with crazy high gain ala Mettalica. Sent it back to Dave for another gain stage. Its on the way back to me now after a quick surgery by Freidman. It will now have 3 Friedman Mods in it.

Brown Eye Mod
Hairy Brown Eye Mod
Angry Hippie/ "As heavy as Dave can make it" mod.

Should be the ultimate Marshall. Will get it back next week and post up over the holiday with a clip or two and a report.

Well its not the Angry Hippie I gave him. He basically has the Brown Eye, Custom 45 and a higher gain of either. Not sure what to call that though. Any Ideas ?

how about the "DTL" mod(dave's triple-lindy mod)...basically,as described: a Brown Eye,a Custom 45,and an even higher-gain "boost" feature... ...reminds me of a "BLT" sandwich...hey,maybe we can call it a Dave's "Samich" Special???
