I’d send a text saying “hey I have this do you want it back?” No response then do what you will. They might even tell you they literally don’t care and keep it. I always prefer to have a clean conscience for myself otherwise it would stick with me.

I mean eventually dude needed money and sold it. The guy came a while later and he told him what happened and he didn't really care. It was MIA bass too but I think he got like 400 or 500 bucks for it.

ive seen and heard of a few similar stories, im honestly surprised some severe beatings werent handed out.

I’d mail it back to them immediately no questions asked. I’m not selling gear I didnt buy that I don’t have proof of purchase other than possession.

I personally wouldn’t open the door to any reason for retaliation or situational manipulation.

i dont think its my responsibility to track these people down and then have to spend more money than the smashed up eq pedal or cymbal stand is worth to ship. If they want to track me down, ill be happy to give the stuff back
