With the internal trim pot setted on 9 o'clock what kind of gain you can reach? Can you also have 80's hot rodded marshall but with less compression??

Yeah I think it shouldnt be a problem, even with the trim at 9:00 i have the gain below 12:00 for a great crunch tone. Just push the gain to 12:00 and higher for more of that 80's shred.

That's good to know. Because honestly I bought the pedal for the 80s hot rodded Marshall sound. I can tell it can do so much more than that, but in my band that's what my rig is missing.

I'd love to see a video of how the BE-OD compares to the Runt's gain channel

Used it live for the first time last night.

Needs to be tweaked more to sound "right" in my rig and in my band setting, but that's to be expected.

Anybody getting some extra "hiss" when they use it live? If so, how do you compensate for it?

I had to pull the gain down to 9:00 and raise the volume. Maybe the added volume caused the hiss.

I use mine with the Internal trim down at 9:00 you still have plenty of gain but it does help the pedal be quieter, I used min at a gig last week and didn't even notice hiss.... just good tone!

Worked like a charm! Just had to tweak the levels and EQ a bit but I was right back in business!
