You need to plug into the Normal channel of an AC30 and turn it to 10. Then hit the front end with a Fryer Treble Booster. Also having a guitar like Brian May will get you as close as you're going to get. Brian also runs 3 AC30's with the center amp dry. There is a lot of info on the net about his tone.
There's actually a video called "Star Licks", that Brian did back in 1984. He explains quite well about how he gets his sound.
And yep he does run a kind of wet/dry/wet setup. He splits his signal with a chorus pedal (Boss CE-1). Sounds really good without that seasick or overboard chorusy sound, quite innovative in fact.
