Cabinet for EVH 5150 III Stealth 100W

Dude, you have seen the fucking correspondence from the people at both Fender and Celestion and why they did it. Take your stupid fucking legal bullshit up with them. If you want to throw your lot in with the dude who has the distinction of being even more fucking stupid than Fat ass Dan that's on you, but a spade is a spade. Jesus fucking christ.
I have no skin in the game and I don't care. I just find it hard to believe that people find it objectionable or unbelievable that different countries have different laws, standards or testing for electrical products.

A company followed the law, took some samples and made an average? OH MY GOODNESS! Next there'll be tears over mean, median and mode.

Dude, no one here gives a fuck about that. You need to address that with Celestion. Or Fender. Multiple reps from both companies have said these are not 20w speakers, that's why the cab is rated 100 watts. That's the end of it as far as any rational person is concerned.

Most people would look at a website with a spec sheet and assume it to be true; and usually it probably would be. I think that's what most rational people would do and expect in that situation.

You don't think they would wonder how a cabinet with four 20 watt speakers could be rated for 100 watts ? Maybe ask some guys that might know what the deal is ? I mean if Greenbacks haven't been 20w since like 1967, it's clearly not a secret. It's also very unlikely they're run afoul of any laws. Lawyers would surely have been all over it by now, right ?

This says everything anyone needs to know about how retarded you are. You'd take a known incorrect for historical and marketing purposes spec sheet over the word of the person who actually designed and built the piece of equipment. JFC, you can't get more asinine and utterly stupid than that. I'm done dealing with your retardation for the night. I'm out for the rest of the evening/night. Make sure your mommy tucks you in tightly when you go off to dream land so you don't roll out the bed.
Yes just as history has shown.......

Its best to follow informal statements, proof of nothing as you and others do without any actual proof or evidence of anything and take that for science/maths or a matter of fact. What could go wrong...... I mean it's just speaker wattages in this case, what's the worst that could happen in such instance or in life in general under such logic 🤔

But never mind me. I'm no "expert".

It is what anyone would expect. I am sure they regret putting it incorrectly on there, because they get a shitload of emails when the math doesn't add up.

I think they wanted to make it seem like the evh branded ones were the original 20 watt versions. And they never could be. We use much different materials than we did back then

The speakers are made in UK and subject to UK laws.

Where is the cabinet made and finalized? USA? The completed speaker cabinet would be subject to US laws then right?

If that US made completed cab with UK speakers is shipped to Canada who is responsible that it adheres to Canadian law; importer or exporter? I don't have a clue. Nobody else envision a supply chain and the issues that can arise from this?
