I'm not the one here favoring informal statements and hyperbole by you or others as fact. What's alarming to me is that you simply nod your head and say yes to it, eat the grey goop and accept it despite all reasonable logic saying otherwise...... Talk about being a bot/zombie..... Just nodding yes mindlessly to anything. Okay fine and kinda scary
Based on your logic one could say
"okay dude told me in an email it's 25 watts but provided no actual evidence or documents to prove it so let me run a 25 watt amp through it"..... Based on an informal statement and again no real evidence or proof that these are actually 25 watts and everything says they are infact 20 watts and then you blow a speaker......
Why would Celestion honor the warranty when you used a lower rated speaker and higher wattage amp on purpose?!?!? Because it was read on a forum from you or others and some dude said another dude told him in an email and informal statement vs the official documents provided by Celestion......
Okay fine but at least be aware that is essentially your argument here..... And it's not a very good one if an argument at all and more magical thinking than anything
It just doesn't seem wise by any reasonable standards in America or the Civilized World and it doesn't seem wise when it comes to ones gear/rig and basic safety and just basic standards in general..... But you can go on and listen to the "experts".....
Me I'ma just follow common sense and go by official ratings in official documents but hey that's me......
Works for me *_*
