Listen to the other members here...you need to let everyone know who it is. He can then post an explanation in an attempt to restore his good standing. Even if you get the amp in good condition, the circumstances around the transaction are complete BS.

The key to any transaction is COMMUNICATION. All you need to do is keep a person posted on what's going on and no lie about what's going on. Like someone else posted, we all have other things going on in our lives that keep us from getting to shipping stuff out, so why make up stories? We all understand how life is.

Okay, I have a tracking number. The second owner sent it to me. He said he would have sent it to me earlier but just learned that it was purchased by someone else (me) a couple days ago. Apparently the original guy I purchased it from didn't even keep this guy in the loop

So, I should have the amp, hopefully there aren't even more issues with it. I had PM'd the guy about getting a refund in which he responded, "I don't have the money. The amp is yours. I'm sorry, I'm having serious life issues and can do nothing more." At least the amp is on its way. I wonder how long it would have took to have this thing heading my way if I hadn't posted this thread.

Do you guys still think I should give up his name? I mean, I do have the amp on its way now...but then again, he did lie, I know I won't be doing business with him again.

If the guy sold an amp or anything for that matter to someone else then to you and didn't tell you that he doesn't have the amp and that someone else does and it will be sent to you from them, that's already a bunch of bullshit that I wouldn't tolerate at all.

Doesn't seem like a big lie...it's just a little lie really.

The seller didn't want him to know that someone else was playing his amp. It was one of those little lies to not hurt people's feelings.

how the amplifier got into someone elses hands without any cash but then made you pay for it is beyond an oopsie daisy - thats blatant irresponsibility and has consequences. regardless of his life decisions.

bad planning on his part does not constitute an emergency in ours.

meaning, tough shit. reap the crop that you sow, and deal with the fact no one will want to continue any business with this guy any further.

If thats the case, then yes, he should be outed. We dont like liars around here and that would make the next douche think twice before pulling crap like that on someone else.
I would also like a PM with his name if you dont want to list it He's making his serious life issue's your serious life issues, and messing up a good thing for the rest of us. We need to run a clean ship here for each other's sake

I know he's sold a Cameron before and some other serious items so I don't think he should be "avoided like the plague," who knows what is going on in his life right now. Nonetheless, I don't think it should give him the excuse to lie about everything he did. Even after he admitted to not shipping it (and therefore admitting to lying), he still didn't tell me about the whole, I shipped it to someone else situation. The communication was poor to put it lightly.
