There's nothing wrong with Slinkys.
They're like fucking cockroaches.I'm getting burned out on people complaining about not getting what they wanted, blah, blah.
I'm retired military and stopped going to the free Veterans Day offers by restaurants, etc. because I watched people just go from place to place getting free food and it pissed me off. Just ruins the purpose of it and like everything these days, turns into a damn carnival.
The more life I live, the less conveniences I want because i'm just getting burned out on human beings. Everyone just demands refunds, etc. Sometimes you get the burned food. Just eat it and shut the hell up. You missed the sale. Too bad, move on.
I was using Danelectro Vintage strings in 2000, when I finally moved to 10’s.There's nothing wrong with Slinkys.
I've always used Slinkys on guitars. I even have them on my daily beater acoustic.I was using Danelectro Vintage strings when I finally moved to 10’s.
I’m in D with a 26” scale.
The guitars began to speak nicely.
Realised my frets were taking huge wear from the vintage strings, and moved over to Ernie Balls again.
I like them. Huge tone.
D’Addarios for me always had a weird feel to them.
Maxima Gold we’re a nice departure for a while, but I’ll always come back to Ernie Ball.
Rotos are the industry standard for good reason.I've always used Slinkys on guitars. I even have them on my daily beater acoustic.
Basses I historically gravitate to fresh Roto 66s, but when I got the Spector it came with these EXL-170s and they sound fucking awesome and last forever. I was putting fresh Rotos on the RIc every third gig.
I used DR pure blues for a good while after I had moved on from Ernie ball slinky's. But they had a QC issue for a while many years ago and eventually moved on to NYXL's and I fell in love with those strings.I was using Danelectro Vintage strings in 2000, when I finally moved to 10’s.

The guitars began to speak nicely. I didn’t need any supposed extra tone from quirky strings anymore.

I like them. Dependable tone.
D’Addarios for me always had a weird feel to them.

Everyone loves drama and gossip especially today. The guy in OP who makes these videos ain't bad and I think he's a standup guy.....
But I mean when did guitar players become such victim attention getters or not sure how to say it....
Why play victim all the time over shit that don't matter....
D'Addario strings are great quality, they sound amazing, they are priced great..... What else do you want, a fucking pony too![]()
I've never tried Rotos but a friend of mine swears by them. Flatwounds are my preference and Ernie Balls never did me wrong though.Rotos are the industry standard for good reason.
I’ve put Elites on my Bass for the studio, but would fit Rotos in a heartbeat if I was ever gigging Bass again.
Fuck me - how many ponies have you got down there?. What else do you want, a fucking pony too![]()
I didn’t know that…cool… something about the super bullets… just so…. SlinkyDude...... Yes and Fender 150s ain't bad. D'Addario makes those too.
I played Dean markley flat wounds on my les Pauls for all of the 90’s almost. Loved those things…..I've never tried Rotos but a friend of mine swears by them. Flatwounds are my preference and Ernie Balls never did me wrong though.
Ha ha.I use whatever strings MF puts on Deal of the Day once every couple months.
I felt Bullets lacked response on a Strat. Better for non-trem perhaps?I didn’t know that…cool… something about the super bullets… just so…. Slinky![]()
Flats are great if you're just playing at home. Nice and smooth, easy on the fingers. I never had any luck with them in a live mix with any of the bands I was in. With the current state of digital everything and modelers and multi FX though, who knows.I've never tried Rotos but a friend of mine swears by them. Flatwounds are my preference and Ernie Balls never did me wrong though.
arizona state university just made "influencing" a college major...... lool I think it will get worseEveryone loves drama and gossip especially today.
I put them on my sykes les Paul and they are amazing on it….I felt Bullets lacked response on a Strat. Better for non-trem perhaps?
