I like his accent because he reminds me of Carson from Stargate Atlantis. Carson was my favorite character in the show.

NYXLs have been my go-to strings for a few years. I love them.
I definitely fall into the camp described below (I want to be upset about something) and I'm not sure how to proceed. I feel like all of us should be fighting AI and data centers, but AI can be useful in some regard.

D'Addario doubling down and lying to their customers is absolute shit though.

What is a good alternative to D'Addario NYXLs?

Jesus who gives a shit. They're guitar strings. D'addario happens to make good ones imo. The tone in the AI video was so processed that the dude could have been playing lamp power cords or the copper lines from inside a network cable and it wouldn't have changed the tone. D'addario strings are fine, I'll keep buying them. I don't like AI as much as the next guy but all the panty pissing happening over this is stupid.

This feels like nothing more than internet people looking for anything they can to manufacture drama like usual.

It's interesting to me to see so much EB hate....they're by far the strings I've used the most over the course of about 30 years, and these days they're literally the only ones I buy anymore

Hes from Ireland. He actually lives 15min down the road from me. (We arent friends, and my town is better)

Dadarrio are fine. I buy them because....well....its either them or Ernie Ball, flip a coin for all I care (Im turbo-dont-give-a-shit about this). He's obviously not got a lot else going on

It just more estrogen-filled ethereal musings. And its only a matter of time before Rhett Shull gives us his 2cents.

EB are popular with folks who prefer dead strings, they only last about 1 gig. At least, that was my experience back in '83, they may have changed. Been using GHS XLs for over 40 years. Very consistent quality and never break.

Oh man, I expected to watch this video and find out my favorite all time strings, the NYXLs were really just the regular XLs re-branded and spiked in price. Now THAT would be a scandalous drama! But is the demo AI or not? Who gives a flying Fawk!
