Although I am (and was a fan) of Sammy b/f VH, VH sort of ended when DLR left for me - I confess ignorance to VH with Sammy.
Before that, for me, it all comes together on Mean Street b/c the guitar sounds so solid, but the truth is that anything VH1 through 1984 is a grab-bag..reach in and pick one.
