It's the Uber man. I hate to say cause its such a badass amp, but in a two guitar band, I couldn't cut for the life of me no matter what tricks I tried. The only time I could make a noticeable improvement, the tone would be so bad that I wasn't enjoying playing. This is all just my experience and I'm sure other guys have found solutions for Ubers in a mix that work for them, but for me- I just picked a different amp for the band. Went back to Mesa and was 10x happier with the sounds we were getting as a band.

The knobs on the Uber are not labeled correctly.
(Presence) is a contour or mid-scoop knob
(Treble) is your conventional presence
(Middle) is your conventional treble
(Bass & Gain) are the only knobs that are working as labeled

Part of the problem is that you don't have a "real" mid knob on your amp. So if you wanna add some mids to your sound to ear yourself, you have to crank the Presence knob to a point that you won't like your sound anymore.

I know it's not what you want to ear. But let's face it, the Rev 2 Uber is a scooped sounding amp by design and it's what it's known for.

Yep....

Sounds soooo good with Prescence super low on its own but I'll have to play with it more when the other guitarist is there
