Instead of bitching at the seller why don't these fucktards just ignore the listing?

because a lot of us "fucktards" here and other places are part of a tight knit community of buyers and sellers that all know each other. and we sit back and fucking laugh at the shitbag attitudes rampant on this board as of late.

including but not limited to posts like yours commenting that someone just ignore a listing

you should take your own advice when you have nothing to offer other than man-struating all over someone else's thread.

You are correct, an attitude check was in order.

Sorry guys, don't know what I was thinking when I worded my original response. I was in the wrong here.

Wat?

 , :poke: $5 strings deal breaker.... aayy, should have asked for 5% discount on the strings... and settle for 2 %..

I actually started with asking for a small discount, doesn't hurt to ask I figured even though it was heavily discounted.

Sales kid went to the manager, came back and said no. But, they would throw in a setup. That's when I said I preferred to do my own setups but if they threw in a pack of strings I'll take it. That's when he went to the manager again and came back and said no.

They were willing to do a setup on the guitar, which must have costed less to have an employee do than the $5 pack of strings I guess.

Needless to say I really needed another guitar like a hole in my head so I bounced.

yeah....you were right the first time. Dont let anyone tell you what to think!

I guess I always appreciate the call out on overpriced gear. When I sell stuff I usually look at what they have actually sold for on ebay and start my pricing on the low side of that but always appreciate lower pricing being brought to my attention and adjusting as such.

It's one of the reasons I appreciate being on found like this as it really gives an oppurtunity to connect with a whole bunch of people who actually are the market I'm selling or trading with rather than craigslist local experts who can be downright rude.

The 2 that I bought ain't going anywhere. I've played lots of PRS guitars and I think I got lucky because the 2 I got are just awesome.

When the PRS sale was announced I went to one of the local GC's and almost bought a Custom 22.

I told the sales kid I would buy it if they threw in a pack of strings because I prefer to do my own setups.

He said he had to talk to the manager and was gone for about 10 minutes. Came back and said the manager would not throw in a pack of strings to make the sale so I walked.

Maybe you just really didn't want a PRS. :)

I'd still ignore an overpriced add. It was the tone in which I responded that I wished to take back.
