That's cool. It's just my opinion that a PM should be just that - private. I wouldn't post someone's private email to me online, so I also wouldn't post a PM. It's the same situation; it's a private communication between two or more parties and was never intended for public consumption.

But hey, what do I know, right?

Text and e mails get miss read all the time. I used to use all capital letters when sending e mails out at my work and people thought I was pissed at them all the time. I did not know that all capital letters in e mails meant you were pissed. Keep doing what your doing. If I had a dollar every time some dumb ass pissed me off I would be a rich man.

I have played out and spent long periods of time not doing so, just jamming and taking more lessons.

You opinions on tone and gear are always of some value. If we know what you like, then comparisons to other gear have a point of reference.

As others have said, IMO a sense of timing and just playing a song correctly, with the band tight matters way more than nuances in tone. Playing with a new bass player or drummer that sort of drifts, or drags on slow songs, is the worst.

YMMV.

Enjoy the forum. Lots of good players and people that know gear.

For the record, I don't think I've ever seen anyone lament anything on this forum, with the exception of selling off gear and later regretting it.
