Most guys I see these days actually have pretty good tone. I think the gear that is available to players, within a decent price range, has made tone in general a little better. Is it pedestrian? Yes, but much better than say the average player in a club 20 years ago.

That I don't like most of the tones that most guitar players like. I like unique tones that are not the norm and the plain vanilla tones bore me, So I will no longer comment on guitar tones.

I myself realize that I myself am a dick, so I wonder why I don't just comment less. No one wants to hear what I have to say. Then I realized if I stopped being a dick, I would just cease to exist. Therefore, I must be unpleasant.

I agree with you, good tone is more common these days than 10-15 years ago. So many cool amps and guitars for good working man prices.


Most of you guys do not know what Ralphie is capable of nor have you seen him in the zone.........................man are you missing out on sone shit 90% of the guys we place on alters would be beat down and broken if on stage with Gainfreak

You should have seen the show Harry put on going through the Natas last summer, the boy put on a show that would have buried 95% of the cock solos during the 80s. I wish I filmed it, he was ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will go with saying I'm not a vanilla kinda guy; hence the reason I really don't dig 'plexi' this or 'plexi' that. I like to sound completely different - this is what I love about the Mak4, amongst others, it rules in sounding "different".

Whatever to each their own.

I love the Plexi tones with pedals because so much depends on the player to make things sound unique. I agree that there is no right or wrong.

I felt dizzy for a second last night, thought that might be it but nah I think I just stood up to fast.
