One last chance to get that special something MIA/Built in USA in 2025.....

Honestly best thing I purchased last year or in general has to be the MIA/Built in the USA stuff.


From my Bad Cat Lynx to my Fender Princeton Reverb Reissue.....


It's just great when you buy American and support domestic and local businesses *_*
 
Especially if you're getting some tax money back....... Not a bad time to buy MIA/Built in the USA.....

while I understand you observation, I think most come to this conclusion based on being marginalized and given little options. In the US, the exposure is limited products made overseas but by corporation looking to cut corners beyond labor. More often than not it’s not only labor but cheaper wood, processes and hardware. It has less to do with who’s making it and more to about who’s decide how to make it.

Quite honestly the big makers are putting out overpriced 💩 . I’ll take a small builder everyday of the week, but to the consumer, brand association comes before quality.

There are tons of domestic builders here in Japan that make far superior product but are limited to domestic sales.

Honestly yeah Japanese stuff is as good or better IME and excellent on average and that goes without saying.


MIM and a lot of Chinese stuff or Indonesian stuff and Korean stuff is great too. Stuff Made in the UK or England amazing too.


Personally though just feel MIA/Built in the USA offers something special and it's worth the money and IME have neber been disappointed with anything Ive bought MIA/Built in the USA. From pedales to amps it's always been great and feels great to Buy and support domestic as well.


I'm not saying Buy everything MIA/Built in the USA but hey it's not Bad and for the most part satisfying.
 
In Americas 250 maybe it's time check out a USA Charvel or Gibson or something like a Fender or Friedman amp made in America.......


Love my American amps and my Fender Princeton Reverb Reissue and my Bad Cat Lynx 50...... also love my Griffin Fx Johnny Chimpo pedal Made in USA.....


It just hits the spot 👌

Quite the thread. As a non-American, I have a MIA strat, and its been better than all the other guitars Ive owned (with the exception of a Godin I had for a while). And I have a Mesa Amp which is also marvellous. so yes I can I can dig your nationalistic passion. I feel the same way every time I have a pint of Guinness from outside of the homeland.

Ive had a few of the Chinese pedals, and its a hit and miss affair. I have actually thrown some of them directly into the bin (trash). Others...not bad at all, but at the end of the day its like trusting public toilets in France.

Ha, if only. Sometimes its just a hole in the ground. They really need to sort it out. I suppose they have the "bidet" but a public one, I'd stay away from.

In the middle east you get a hose beside your toilet. That IS used to shoot water up your arse. But again, the collateral is real and I never understood what was wrong with toilet paper.

I met an Afghan warlord once, they use one hand for one thing, and one for another....I had to eat the food just to be hospitable...ended up in a right old mess for 4 days.

A lot of places in Asia are like that. "The Squat". But I had some satisfying logs dealt. As far as the Afghan warlord, I hope you didn't need the hose after :(
 
Made in USA only.....I mean yeah. Things can be good from other countries...but yeah...













American made like in the USA with ribbon connectors and modern building styles like pcbs...much better than that old turret style

I worked with some Vietnamese guys years ago. They always left shoeprints on the toilet seat because they'd climb up and stand on it to take a dump. I guess they were used to standing over holes.. It was odd.
