If anyone has a Blades in Chicago I'd love to compare it to my Cameron modded 1987X. Throwing it out there.

I had a Cameron modded Marshall 1987X in a WHITE Shell, sold on eBAY about 4 years back….crazy you mentioned that. This FireBolt is a STOMPER. I had a 5150III in White…sold that as well. Had a Rivera Knucklehead, 5 Splawns, Dailey C-Series, a slew of pre-amps like a Kitty Hawk Testerossa/ADA MP-1, Tripler Giant, Soldano PRE's, this Blades is just CHEWIER.
Im NAILING "Women N Children" like Im listening to the record. Best I can describe it, then it goes to Lynch, ANY Lynch.

Not bullshitting. I sold off 3 amps after getting mine.
But the modded Mesa goes NO WHERE!!!

LOL….I always like the Dual Recto, great amp….lots of cool amps, but after owning the VENOM as well….dam man, its Aldrich and then some….. SICK Tone!!! Im using the Lynch Tripler to run the Venom and Firebolt together, its INSANE!!!!!
I run a Boss DD-2 in the effects of the FireBolt and its greasy BROWN heaven.

Use a Carbon copy in the loop as well as a Boss 10 band EQ. It just lights it up.

Im getting the REAPER as well…. it roars, reminds me of RACERX. It nails the Cantrell tone,….. the guys that own it says its better than Cantrell's signature amp

you a/b'd the blades with a ccv and it was better?? the blades is a replica of a Cameron jose. he said it in some youtube vids, an exact replica. did you buy your blades amps or did he give them to you?

Get off the bent track of BS. I had to go thru HELL to get that B-52 BACK into my hands driving back n forth from Diego to LA over and over again as promises were made and it was like PULLING TEETH to get that amp back

The CCV sounded good, the FireBolt was NIGHT n DAY more articulate and BROWN. It didn't have a MESA sound it was the "Better Marshall" tone. And your incorrect, its a JOSE and then some, don't place the "CAMERON" name beside JOSE. Just like Cameron borrowing from Bogner as he sat in a chair employed by Reinhold staring at his concepts and work designs. Fortin grabbed tons from JOSE. Can you expound upon the bolded part of the above paragraph? I know nothing about the FB, and I've also never played a CCV. Here is what I do know: the CCV has higher voltages and a stiffer power supply than the Friedman BE100. People who have played both of those amps say that the CCV is tighter and more immediate (articulate?), while the Friedman has more compression and is browner. So I guess I'm wondering what your definitions of articulation and brown are in this context...
