I'm not a fan of his, but I don't mind watching his videos sometimes. Farting, swearing, it gets boring even for those who enjoyed it at first. What I noticed, though, is that he never worked with his audience, fans and ass-kissers. I don't know if he ever liked a comment or responded to any question, whatever.
 
its crazy to me how many youtubers there actually are now, it seems like i see a new one in my feed everyday that ive never seen before that has hundreds of thousands of subs, its certainly a saturated market now that has to be tough to stay on top of

Eventually this whole thing has to fall on itself…if sales fall, marketing budgets will come down, the weakest ones will go away…I’d like to think
 
I watch sometimes, not very much. I can appreciate genuine people and he seems genuine.

I don’t watch any guitar YouTube anymore, a few years back it seems every even mildly-successful channel just became 95% ads.

It’s gotta be rough trying to make a living with guitar-centric YouTube videos, ola is pretty much the guy to beat and even videos of random guys rebuilding engines in their garage get more views.

I'm glad you brought this up. I did some research at work today. Most of the specimens were certainly unwilling participants...some violently. They were...however...all analyzed. Early findings show that the results varied greatly based on the duration of the test. Without getting into all the spreadsheet data...shorter tests were inline with my assumptions of general weirdness. Extend the testing time and WHOA BUDDY! Much more similar to the control base. The kicker is that I didn't even show them your post! I have a lot of thinking to do. Also...nearly all the participants demanded to be retested tomorrow. Research is taken very seriously. We have a good crew.

You should have handled the situation with kid gloves...but that could have violated the terms of your probation. What a dilemma!

His videos started to sound too similar. Draven is a badass and is coming up with new heavy songs for every amp he demos and he stacks pedals and shit that’s cool to make it happen.

Ola is great at what he does but he needs to think about comparisons. He could travel to interview some of the famous Sweden modders or take us to the Engl factory. Dudes got immense pull in the music realm - why is it limited to own hammer IRs with fart and burp noises of this weeks new update on modelers.

I like the idea of factory tours of European makers and getting more out in the field. He should branch out into interviewing modders like you said and metal musicians. He should expand on coffee w/Ola and maybe start using the Rick Beato interviews as a launching idea for better and more in depth interviews with the greats.
